CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Wyoming Sens. Mike Enzi and John Barrasso say a Russian trade and human rights bill that has cleared Congress will benefit Wyoming products.
The two Republicans say soda ash, oil field equipment and beef are just a few of the Wyoming products that will be able to fairly compete in Russian markets because of the bill.
Enzi says the legislation would give America the opportunity to challenge unfair trade practices in the World Trade Organization if Russia does not honor its commitments
President Barack Obama still needs to sign the measure, which Russia has heavily criticized because of certain human rights provisions.
