Big Horns
Powder River Ranger District
There has been no new snowfall in Buffalo this week, spokeswoman Patty Bills said. But the snow is holding up and officials are grooming the trails to keep the base in place. The east side of the Big Horn Mountains received more snow out of the recent storm. Sawmill near Hunter has a base of up to 23 inches of snow. Powder River Pass has a base of 29 inches.
Bear Lodge
The lodge on Highway 14-A at Burgess Junction is holding its own, even though there was no additional snow this week, spokeswoman Jeannette Tinn said Wednesday. Snow is expected Saturday and Sunday.
Deer Haven Lodge
South Fork is expecting snow over the weekend, said Kelli Jones of the lodge. The lodge is grooming trails in the 400 trail park, which provides a number of different options for cross country skiers and snowmobilers. The lodge is located 18 miles east of Ten Sleep on Highway 16.
Black Hills
Northern Hills Ranger District
Conditions improved with the recent storm, but the area did not get any new accumulation this week, said specialist Bonnie Jones.. Trail Head, Savoy, S.D., and the Deadwood, S.D., areas, along with the 76 trail in Spearfish Canyon, are excellent getaways and the Iron Creek Trail off Spearfish Canyon also has excellent snow conditions.

Meadowlark Ski Lodge
Snow: Powder and machine-groomed conditions, with a base of 24 to 30 inches of snow.
What’s open: All 14 trails and both lifts.
Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
Hogadon
Snow: Powder and machine-groomed conditions with a base of 16 to 20 inches.
What’s open: Two of 24 trails and two of three lifts.
Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
Jackson Hole
Snow: 7 inches of new snow has fallen, and the area has powder and machine-groomed conditions with base of 62 to 74 inches.
What’s open: 106 of 116 trails, 12 of 15 chairlifts.
Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 Monday through Friday
South Dakota
Mystic Miner Ski Resort
Snow: Powder and machine-groomed conditions with a base of 15 to 24 inches of snow.
What’s open: All runs serviced by chairlift on the front side.
Hours: 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Deer Mountain.
Terry Peak
Snow: Hard-packed and machine-groomed conditions with a base of 18 to 26 inches.
What’s open: Ten of 30 trails and four of five lifts.
Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
