US Education officials in Wyoming Friday

CHEYENNE — U.S. Department of Education officials are in Wyoming as part of an annual bus tour across the country on education issues.
Officials planned events Friday in Cheyenne and Clearmont in northern Wyoming.
Under Secretary Martha Kanter was scheduled to participate in a town hall meeting on education and the economy at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne.
There also will be a round table discussion with career and technical education faculty, staff and students.
Other officials will be discussing how to improve teaching and learning in rural areas in Clearmont, which is about 30 miles southeast of Sheridan.
