Want to become a licensed radio operator?

Posted 1/3/13

The North East Wyoming Amateur Radio operators will get together Saturday morning for a day of testing and information.

Those who have prepared and studied for a certification test can bring a picture ID and $15 to cover the Federal Communications Commission fee to the Alan Mickelson Fire Training Center at 9:30 a.m. to be tested.

The tests provided will be for initial licenses, as well as class certifications.

Those who are not prepared for a test, but want to become certified, can attend the group’s annual public meeting at 11 a.m. that day. The organization covers amateur radio enthusiasts in Campbell, Crook and Weston counties.
