Today marks the launch of our new web site. We would love your feedback.
Where is the date? I can not find anywhere where it says the day. Thursday, March 31, 2011|Report this
I really like the layout, but the font and size on the articles are extremely hard to read. I also miss being able to jump to the next article from the bottom of the story. Thursday, March 31, 2011|Report this
Not sure if I like the new format. The old version was easier to navigate, but the new site carries much more information.
It will take some getting used to. Thursday, March 31, 2011|Report this
cant get anywhere i am sure there is more than one help wanted add have had to log in each time i change a page hope this improves soon Friday, April 1, 2011|Report this
The old version was easier to navigate. However, I like the wider variety of information provided in this new format! Friday, April 1, 2011|Report this
I like progress when things actually improve. While the new format looks more modern and offers more options in the way of headers to drill down to specific topics, the old format was easier to navigate and easier to search. I can't seem to find a way to search for date ranges like the old site. Maybe you need to include a HELP or FAQ section. Saturday, April 2, 2011|Report this
I like the new layout. However the font is too small, some links do not work properly and the "print this page" opens the same page in a different window, ads included. Additionally it does not open your print window or give a print button. Tuesday, April 5, 2011|Report this
There is no archive button

where is the "What's going on" section? Also, there is no contact information...... Wednesday, April 6, 2011|Report this
I think the big issue is navigating the site as efficiently as you can navigate a paper. The reader should be able to go from article to article fluidly, not have to travel over the same 5 mouse clicks for every single article. Monday, April 11, 2011|Report this
Need to go back to the old site. The new site is very difficult to navigate!!!. I like the look of the new site but not the way it is linked. The classified adds are too cumbersome to navigate as well. Too many options to search. Monday, April 18, 2011|Report this
Viewing the classifieds are especially dificult and not usuer friendly AT ALL! Thursday, April 21, 2011|Report this
How come "Today's Poll" has been the same poll for a month?! Friday, April 22, 2011|Report this
It will take some getting used to. I would like to see a date on the front page and liked the way I could scroll right into another article in the old format without a lot of extra clicks. I appreciate the extra content and am thrilled (THRILLED) that the annoying Spearfish Motors ad is gone! Thursday, April 28, 2011|Report this
Why can't you offer a "print this page" without any ads (i.e. the corner tab)

What's with those awful popup advertisements every time i visit your website??? Tuesday, May 31, 2011|Report this
Why don't you look at how other online papers are designed? They surely don't have ads that pop up everytime you click on something. Thursday, June 2, 2011|Report this
Not making enough money huh?? Now we have to subscribe to even get pathetic online articles. What a waste. Thursday, June 2, 2011|Report this
Don't count on me subscribing any time soon. I can find some other way to get my news.

Every other online newspaper allows you to read most articles. This is pure B.S. that you can't any articles other than the ones you jacked from another website.

Where is all the past articles? I hope you are not hiring someone to do this site. Wednesday, June 8, 2011|Report this
For trying to make us pay for the NR by posting only the first few sentences to an article.........another reason why we have never paid for a subscription in the 40+ years we've lived in Gillette. We'll continue to use the Internet for our news. Friday, June 24, 2011|Report this
I would really like to get the whole paper online. It has sold me personally more actual newspapers than I had ever bought before. When I see something that really interests me I go get the paper copy. Wednesday, July 13, 2011|Report this
