Three young Gillette wrestlers are being ranked as future Olympians by a national wrestling website after their solid 2012 season.
The three are members of the Peak Wrestling Club in Gillette and wrapped up their season June 26-27 at the 2012 ASICS/USAWKids Freestyle and Greco National Wrestling Tournament in Orem, Utah.
Top USA wrestlers from all 50 states participated in the tournament.
Both Taylor Jeffries and Mason Miller of Gillette placed in the top six of their divisions in the Greco-Roman wrestling to earn All-American status.
A third Peak wrestler, Trevor Jeffries, also competed but fell a match short of placing in the schoolboy 91-pound division.
All three were named future Olympians by www.themat.com because of their performances in regional and national tournaments during the 2012 season.
At the national tournament, Taylor Jeffries placed fourth in the schoolboy 120-pound division in Greco.
Mason Miller also placed sixth in Greco in the intermediate 65-pound division.
