WyDOT invests big in Teton projects

JACKSON — The Wyoming Department of Transportation has spent more than $120 million on improving Teton County highways and pathways since 1997.
The agency has another $91 million of highway projects in the pipeline for the next seven years.
The vast majority of the $120 million went to a project in the Snake River canyon that started in 1997 and was completed in 2005. That project cost $79 million.
WyDOT district engineer John Eddins tells the Jackson Hole News & Guide that Teton County does get more money for pathways than other communities.
Jackson Hole is home to a robust, popular and still-growing pathways network.
