Wyoming Highway Patrol reports LSD seizure

LARAMIE — The Wyoming Highway Patrol says a trooper has confiscated a large amount of LSD after stopping a speeding vehicle on I-80 west of Laramie.
The patrol on Wednesday announced that the trooper seized 200 dosage units of LSD, a felony amount of the drug ecstasy and other drugs in last week’s traffic stop. The agency says it was the largest seizure of LSD in the last 12 years.
A 21-year-old California man and 24-year-old Nevada woman were arrested and face felony charges. The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation is looking into where the drugs came from and where they were headed.
