The purpose of this meeting is for residents of Gillette and Campbell County to get together to identify LOCAL SOLUTIONS to ensure a healthy future community and environment as coal industry growth slows.
We will discuss what a changing energy economy means for Campbell County, and brainstorm together as community members to identify solutions. We’ll discuss how the State’s recently released plan for economic diversification could impact the County, and we will hear from a Rural Sociologist/Community Organizer as well as the Powder River Basin Resource Council.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend, we need your brain-waves!
