Timothy Hallinan Q1

I am undecided regarding this question.

First of all, it is clear that the current administration of the college has been a spectacular addition to the state and the county.

Thus far, the only advantage that I have learned about having our own district is in regard to sports performance. I’m sure there is more to it, but I haven’t heard yet what else we gain from having the control of the college locally.

One sure drawback is the taxes that industry will have to pay for moving the administration of the college here.

I am not entirely hostile to the idea, but am unwilling to sign on to it at this time. The discussion is very early on at this point and there is no need for a hasty decision, in my opinion.
