Arlene Bryant Q2

We must continue to take care of the rural cemeteries of our district.

We recently put one of our sculptures at the Rozet Cemetery and the feedback is they love it. We plan to put one sculpture in each cemetery, if possible. We have seven rural cemeteries, including Bethlehem, ER, Four Mile, Kintz, Rozet, Savageton and Wright.

There also is a rural cemetery east of Rozet that agonizes over whether they want to come into our district. It’s a beautiful little cemetery and the older people would love to come into the district because they don’t feel like they can take care of it any longer. The younger folks insist they can handle it.

It will be interesting to see how they eventually decide. If they decide to come into the district, we will of course put a sculpture there.
