The late afternoon heat wasn’t enough to keep protesters away from City Hall on Tuesday evening.

Ahead of the Gillette City Council’s meeting, protesters gathered outside with signs calling for Mayor Louise Carter-King to be "fired" and Gadsden flags, recognizable at a distance by the coiled rattlesnake on a yellow background.
