After spiking in July, the unemployment rate in Campbell County has dropped for the second month in a row and is now lower than it was a year ago.

For September, Campbell County’s unemployment rate was 3.9%, which is down from the 4.5% in August. It’s the largest drop in the state, but still remains higher than any other county’s. It’s also down from July’s 5.7% unemployment rate.
