The city of Gillette may soon enforce stricter penalties to private businesses that don’t address nasty and potentially dangerous potholes on their property.

If the new proposals become law, the city could start fining property owners $750 for unkept parking lots because of potholes or other deteriorating asphalt.

Is the city going to fine itself for potholes as well because the ally just west of 7th and Butler Spaeth Rd is nothing but a pothole all the way down the alley. Drive by and take pictures in case you are ticketed to show how city does not live up to what they expect you to do like old saying goes, DO AS WE TELL YOU TO AND NOT AS WE DO .
