The city of Gillette and a couple of local agencies expect to apply for some Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act funding that would go toward different projects like the acquisition of land to build more Habitat for Humanity homes. 

The CARES Act money would come through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Service Block Grant.
