Rodeo Prep

Cam-plex employee Trevor Lynde and his son Brycen, 12, use a tractor to unload bales of hay from Kelley McCreery’s trailer in July 2022 outside Morningside Park as preparation for the National High School Finals Rodeo goes into high gear in Gillette.

After a few months on the job, the new Cam-plex executive director had a clear message for Campbell County Public Land Board Members last week: Cam-plex employees are tired, wearing out and in need of help.

“I would say, if you look at the long faces of our team back here — we’re tired,” said Aaron Lyles, Cam-plex executive director, at last week’s land board meeting. “We have been going hard the last month, month-and-a-half. It’s been nonstop.”

Sounds like Camplex should be privatized...then they could sink (or swim) on their own merits. I thought Campbell County was for small gov't; here's a good way to downsize the budget...
