Building damage sustained in vehicle crash

A drunk driver swerved off Butler-Spaeth Road Saturday evening hitting the side of Hillcrest Pampered Pets, pictured, before hitting a planter box that hit and broke nearby De La Cruz Produce's door. Damages are "well over" $1,000, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

A man arrested for crashing into two businesses off Butler-Spaeth Road pleaded guilty at his initial appearance Monday afternoon.

The sentencing for Kaleb Eldridge, 26, of Gillette, is scheduled to happen in October, though no date has been announced.
