A sizable crowd attended Tuesday night's Campbell County School District Board of Trustees meeting to voice concerns over the continued use of face masks in the area public schools. Despite pressure from some parents and local residents, the board held firm to its position that it won't seek a districtwide mask variance for the remainder of the school term.

Instead, Deputy Superintendent Kirby Eisenhauer delivered some welcome, although limited, news to those in attendance: The district has requested and been granted a variance for high school proms.

Here's a thought...civil disobedience, sit-ins, "mask-offs" if you will...simply do not comply with the "mandate". I very much doubt the Gillette PD nor SO has enough room, let alone the gumption to arrest the entire school population...
