Almost one year after the last Close to Home Hospice Hospitality House inpatient passed through its doors, the hospital board of trustees decided to table a vote that would have either reopened the facility or officially ended Campbell County Health’s role in its inpatient services.

“Probably not going to be the most popular guy in the room as I proceed forward with this, but I am extremely disappointed in both sides,” trustee Randy Hite said at Thursday’s board meeting.
