Supporters of Gillette Reproductive Health made one last push to convince Campbell County Commissioners to fund the agency next fiscal year, but they were unsuccessful in swaying the three commissioners opposed to funding the organization.

Residents packed the commissioners chambers at a public hearing Monday for the county’s fiscal year 2020-2021 budget — a meeting that is usually poorly attended by the public.

This is another sad day for our community.

It's a very sad state of affairs when our elected officials have chosen to make decisions based upon sensationalist rumors that have no basis in reality rather than actual facts.

As elected officials (i mean appointed) , they are supposed to represent the people. With so many people actively petitioning for GRH to get funding, the council members are not representing their constituents. With the election, it is time to clean house.
