Area 59 director Guy Jackson started kids in the summer Rocket Maker Camp with some history Monday morning.

With the kids assembled in a classroom, he went over President John F. Kennedy's challenge to get to the moon; Wernher Von Braun who helped the United States launch its first space satellite; and talked about the future that could include going to Mars and the developing space tourism industry.
