During a memorial service this weekend, former state Rep. Roy Edwards’ son Mitch confirmed that his late father was positive for COVID-19 when he died last week.

Edwards died Nov. 2 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper after being hospitalized for more than a week with what was an undisclosed illness at the time.

So sad, this didn't have to be. But for the wearing of a simple mask he would be alive today.

You don't know that to be certain. You don't know where he was exposed to it to be able to make that statement. The CDC has said in a study that many who contact this disease are persons who have been mask wearers.

Rep. Edwards will be missed. It's a painful lesson: individual responsibility, for ourselves and each other, is the "cost of admission" for individual liberty.
