Boxelder Road investigation

Law enforcement and first responders surround the scene along Boxelder Road near the Energy Capital Sports Complex after an officer-involved shooting.

Cody William Amman, 31, has been identified as the man killed in an officer-involved shooting Friday night in Gillette.

Amman allegedly fired at a Gillette police officer early Friday evening and in turn, the officer returned fire.

Ian sorry the office had to shoot Amman! Sounds like Amman was a violent person who should have still been in prison!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the officer and his family. He now has to live with this due to someone else’s actions

Sounds like Ammon was a convicted felon who should not have been allowed to have a gun.
