Operating with new restrictions

Brooklyn Grotrian has her temperature checked by Boys & Girls Club of Campbell County office manager Devin Cady before going in for the summer program as it opens for the day. Just weeks before the new school year begins, one of the major questions for officials and parents is if kids will be required to wear face coverings in class.

Face coverings are looking more and more like a certainty for Campbell County School District students this fall.

The district received about 45,000 masks and 1,500 isolation gowns Friday shipped to Campbell County Public Health, said Randy Bury, the county’s public health response coordinator.
