It was extremely refreshing to listen to Pastor Tom Whitehead and Vern Byrd speak about their experience in Gillette and Campbell County. Their observations of community unity, friendly and welcoming attitude and Can Do approach to challenges that this size of event brings with it. What they are witnessing is Gillette, Campbell County and Wyoming Strong. This event will give this region world wide exposure. I would like to tip my hat to all involved in securing this event, Cam-Plex Staff, Chamber of Commerce, Gillette Convention and Visitors Bureau, Campbell County Commissioners, City Council. Wyoming State Office of Tourism. This is a prime example of a economic diversity in action. Wyoming is more than just an energy producer. Tourism is a vital part of what makes Wyoming the Great State that it is. Wyoming Strong Wyoming Proud.
