Gillette College vote passes

On Tuesday night, the long-awaited fate of Gillette College was decided.

By a 4,160-to-1,724 margin, Campbell County voters overwhelmingly approved the college's separation from the Northern Wyoming Community College District.

Great news, now let's think big, like competing with UW big...not sure how many of you went to UW, but they could sure use some competition for state dollars. They are politically biased just like most colleges, however I'd be ok with it if we had a balanced option (i.e. a "liberal" and "ag" college if you will)...in other words, balance. Of course, higher education has done whatever it can to drive out the right unfortunately, but there is so much opportunity here, let's not waste it with the same old nonsense...
