The federal vaccine mandate for health care workers survived its challenge in the U.S. Supreme Court and is on track to eventually go into effect in facilities throughout the nation.

After a series of meetings and input from Campbell County Health employees along with the public, the organization implemented a COVID-19 vaccine policy for its employees in November. In line with the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requirements, the policy allowed for medical and religious exemptions.
