The agility of horses and the ability of riders are things Campbell County residents can appreciate after years and years of rodeos through its history.

Now another sport that features the agility of horses and the ability of riders can be appreciated her: Indian relays.

We are constantly bombarded with ethnic and/or one's race as being considered in very poor taste and simply not right. However, I see that only native americans are allowed to participate in this competition. What do you think would happen if we had a "White Cowboy" rodeo and only white cowboys were allowed to compete. It would be considered a racist event. I remember "Black Week" back in college and always thought... what if we had "White Week"? It simply would not have been allowed. It is unfortunate that we are a part of this great nation, but have things like "race" continue to hamper us.
