This week after a four-day trial, a jury found a Gillette man was found guilty of aggravated vehicular homicide by reckless driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Matthew J. Coleman was driving a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 the night of June 6, 2020, when the truck rolled over, killing 14-year-old Daniel Ahlers.

Coleman was drunk, driving recklessly, and caused the death of a boy. All of this could have been avoided, by simply following the law. Cologne bottle or not, he is responsible and should be held accountable.
