More than just entertainment: Student-led play serves strong educational purposes

In a quiet and mostly darkened auditorium on a Thursday night, a small but merry band of actors rehearse their lines for an upcoming play written and directed by their Campbell County High School classmate Anthony Monteleone.

The full run-through of the show had just ended, and rehearsal seemed to be at a lull, not quite having used up all of their appointed time but too close to the end to start anything else. Stage manager Cole Sorenson made a call for any of the actors who wanted to work on a monologue or tricky scene. If they wanted, the stage was theirs.
