Betty Lou Stevens Rhodes passed away peacefully in her sleep June 7, 2019, at the Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 86.

She was born Sept. 16, 1932 in Clinton, Missouri.

She was attended by her sister Dorothy Harden and niece Laura Greiner.

She was strong to the very end.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Alvin Rhodes. Both were members of the local Eagles Lodge. Betty and Alvin owned the local Rhodes Cleaning Service for years and were active in senior affairs in Gillette.

She loved country music, bingo and was a talented seamstress.

She is survived by brothers, Lee Stevens, David Stevens; and sisters Dorothy Harden, Mary Nell Flora; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Final preparations will be made at Walker Funeral Home and internment will be at Mount Pisgah Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center where she spent her last four years.
