From the June 13, 1936 News Record:

Ignacio Uruburu appeared before Justice of the Peace H.J. Cook Thursday and pleaded not guilty to a charge of stealing sheep. He waived preliminary hearing and was bound over to district court on a $500 bond. The complaint against Uruburu was signed by Mrs. Bertha Butler and alleged that about 30 head of sheep were found missing on June 6.
