I would like to thank the City Council for voting in favor of the bias or hate crimes ordinance on its first reading last Tuesday. They showed the fortitude and good sense to understand that this ordinance is sadly necessary in this day and age.

What impact do you expect this virtue signal to have I wonder? Will it deter crime or simply further divide the community?

I can't wait until this ordinance turns on the left and prosecutes THEM for vandalizing churches!!! All this ordinance does is PROMOTE hate and division.
