MARTY DEE MCINTOSH, 55, pleaded guilty Jan. 22 to aggravated assault and battery. In a plea agreement, counts of attempted child abuse, domestic battery and unlawful contact were dismissed. He’ll also admit to a probation violation on a previous felony. Attorneys will jointly recommend imposed concurrent sentences of four to six years. He was accused of arguing with his girlfriend on June 21, so she left his house and went with her three children to his sister’s house. He showed up there later, where they again exchanged words. He jumped on top of her on a bed, pinned her down and spat in her face and punched her several times. A 14-year-old child tried to intervene and McIntosh went after her. He tried to throw an ash tray and it hit his girlfriend in the head. She had cuts on her ear and underneath it, one of which was so deep it exposed cartilage, and in all required eight stitches. She also had a ruptured membrane in her ear, according to court documents.
