WEST INTERCHANGE I-90: Gillette police officers watched a white Dodge Challenger speeding and reaching speeds of about 106 mph as they lost sight of it on I-90 near the Burma exit at 2:02 a.m. Friday. They then received a report of an accident near that location soon afterward, Sgt. Eric Dearcorn said. A 27-year-old woman who was driving the Challenger was uninjured but performed poorly on field sobriety tests. She was charged with speeding, reckless driving and driving under the influence. The Challenger had to be towed from the scene and more than $1,000 in damages was reported.
